We are looking for a passionate and solution-oriented director of sales to lead our sales department. We need a self-motivated professional with proven sales and marketing experience with an outstanding track record of success. In this position, you will be responsible for driving corporate revenue through aggressive sales goals, motivating your sales team to onboard new clients, and expand the company’s market share in a competitive landscape. You will maintain a thorough knowledge of our business and offerings, develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow existing accounts, manage and strengthen customer and partner relationship, identify new business opportunities, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver on client expectations. In addition to being an excellent communicator and assessing costs and competition, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Expand new customer base.
- Drive quarterly revenue growth.
- Motivate staff to identify and close new customers.
- Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty and strengthen client relationships.
- Retain clients and build strong, trusting relationships.
- Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities.
- Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
- Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
- Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
- Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
- Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.
- Establish a sales training program to train new employees.
- Meet with sales managers to assess company performance.
- Establish a sales training progra m to train new employees. targets.
Sales Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. A science degree in EE is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.
- Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to develop sales strategies and tactical plans to achieve sales targets.
- Experience in the Power Electronics or related industry is a Big Plus.
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
- Proficient and current usage of CRM, ERP, office suite.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
