Full description of the position

Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Regulatory, R&D, Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs and Marketing and other functional teams to assess global trends in market access, and product market access strategies.
Collaborate with internal business partners to establish priorities, strategies, and processes to create compelling economic value propositions for TMTT therapies.
Represent GHER function in cross functional teams such as product development or clinical trial teams and ensures market access needs and perspectives across geographies are represented.

Collaborate closely with regional and country Market Access leads to deliver the global value and market access strategy for TMTT. Partner closely to support their efforts to including health technology assessment (HTA), reimbursement or pricing submissions, payer and policy maker engagements, and other market access initiatives.
Partner with regional and local market access leads to gather and synthesize insights from Payers, HCPs, Policymakers experts; stays current with scientific and policy trends and best practices and applies strategic and content expertise to strategy planning.
Proactively monitor trends in global/regional/local trends in reimbursement, HTA, value assessment customer to identify opportunities for protecting and improving market access.

Create robust health technology assessment (HTA) tools to meet the evidentiary standards of regulators, HTA organizations, reimbursement authorities, third-party payers and other organizations that review evidence for access decision making.
Lead rigorous literature reviews of clinical, humanistic, epidemiological, and economic evidence to support market access and value communication objectives.
Collaborate with the Scientific Communications team on publication strategy and ensures that the dissemination of HEOR evidence is timely and has maximum reach and impact.
Accountable for the development and maintenance of product Global Value Dossiers (GVD) & Global Value Stories (GVS) that will be utilized by regional and country market access teams.
Oversee the development of core/global economic models to meet local market reimbursement and HTA submission requirements.
Ensures that early economic models are designed and implemented to inform global market access strategy, including testing pricing hypotheses, prioritizing evidence generation, and planning for HTA in key markets.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a life science, health economics, health policy, healthcare finance or related field required.
The individual must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in health economics and reimbursement and/or medical device market access.

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or MPH or PhD) is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially presentation development.
Influence management skills and ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and between competing organizations.
Experience with reimbursement in countries outside the U.S. and can effectively communicate and incorporate regional requirements in overall strategic plans is required.
Demonstrated success and experience in reimbursement and/or health economics in the support of product strategies.
Exceptional project management skills.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with intricate planning and strong tactical execution.
Strong business acumen, analytical skills and experience working with various internal business partners (especially Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, and Government Affairs staff)
Previous experience in, or strong working knowledge of the medical device industry, especially with functional responsibility in health economics and reimbursement planning and program implementation.
Experience working with external stakeholders such as payers, hospitals, physicians, trade associations, professional and medical organizations to develop mutually beneficial health economics and reimbursement strategies and tactics to support portfolio planning, commercialization, and sales/marketing objectives.
Domestic and international travel up to 25%.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $153,000 to $218,000 (highly experienced).

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
