Full description of the position
Interior Designer & Salesperson, Residential RemodelingLocation: Eugene / Springfield, Oregon
Hybrid: 60% Remote
Permanent and Full-Time
We provide a base salary + commission. A proficient and established Design Consultant can expect to make between $100-$130K annually.
This person would report directly to the General Manager of our Eugene/Springfield office. They would also consult with our Design Director who works out of our Portland office.
Our company is seeking a creative, charismatic and client-focused Design Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have sales skills, interpersonal skills and interior design skills in equal measure. If you have a portfolio that includes kitchen and bath remodels, home additions and new home construction we would love to meet you!

We provide a base salary of $4000/month + commission. Additionally, we offer a training salary for the first 3 months. A proficient and established Design Consultant can expect to make $100-$130K+ annually.
What your day will look like:
Design Consultants work on a team with a Project Manager, Design Associates and Carpenters. The Design Consultant is the first point of contact for clients and will work with them throughout the remodeling process to ensure a beautiful end result.
A typical day includes meeting with clients, selling projects, setting project timelines, working with outside vendors and coordinating with your team to design, estimate and complete residential remodeling work.

Skills you have:
Five+ years' experience in residential kitchen and bath design, including cabinetry.
Experience in general single-unit residential design and construction
Two or more years of sales experience, with a proven sales track record, seasoned closing skills and the ability to cultivate and grow your lead pool
Understanding of the construction process
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and stick to a timeline
Well-developed customer service and client interaction skills
A strong portfolio of built design work
Degree in architecture, interior design, interior architecture or housing design
Nice to have:
A strong background in residential construction
NKBA certification
Experience with Chief Architect software
Experience running your own residential design business
Experience designing and/or selling ADU's and or new construction

As a Design Consultant you will be:
Meeting with prospects, generating leads and establishing client relationships.
Applying your passion and design skills to sell jobs and ensuring client satisfaction throughout project, and at project completion.
Assisting the client with acquiring financing, if needed.
Leading the design and sales process with clients and project team.
Coordinating the billing process with the office staff and reviewing all for accuracy
Participating in company special events, and showroom floor hours.
