Job Description:
As an the Change Management Specialist in HR you will play a key role in ensuring HR Transformation Program objectives are realized through increasing employee adoption and usage. You will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. Your primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans. You will work across teams to drive faster adoption and proficiency with the changes that impact all employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the change management work stream within the overall project team
  • Apply a structured methodology and change management process to create both a go-live business approach and a strategy adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative, including integrating change management activities into project plan
  • Conduct Change Impact Assessment, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Develop key benefits messaging around program benefits.
  • Define and manage stakeholder engagement plans
  • Manage the detailed communications plan for the communications work stream
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications, including developing draft communication materials and drive review timelines towards finalization
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs
  • Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics and anticipated resistance
  • Consult and coach project teams
  • Support and engage senior leaders, and managers, act as a coach for senior leaders in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor
  • Create actionable deliverable for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists, across teams and departments
  • Capture of change management risks and detractions, and create mitigation plans
Qualifications/Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a solid academic record
  • 10+ years of professional work experience with at least 5 years in change management
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with large scale change management
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at both senior and middle management levels.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
