Job Title: Farmers Market Associate

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Description: Our Mexican catering business is seeking a Farmers Market Associate who will be responsible for selling our tamales at local farmers markets. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about food, customer service, and sales.

Responsibilities:

• Transport equipment and supplies to the event and set up the booth
• Sell food items to customers at the events
• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Provide exceptional customer service and answer any questions customers may have
• Handle cash and credit card transactions using a cash register or mobile payment system
• Keep track of inventory levels and restock as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized booth and work area
• Break down the booth and transport equipment and supplies back to the business location

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in sales, customer service, or the food industry preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to work
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is a plus
