About the team
This position is part of the Insurance Team. The team is responsible for New Logo sales in the Tier 1 Accounts. The team is completely focused on growing sales with insurance companies including Life Insurance, Property & Casualty, Insure-Techs, and all other types of insurance organizations. This team represents all FIS products including banking, capital markets, and merchant solutions.
What you will be doing
As a Sales Executive, you will be using your Account Management and Business Development experience to accelerate sales across a list of named accounts in the insurance industry. Ideal experience would be experience selling into the insurance marketplace, building relationships with senior level executives, and selling highly complex financial technology-services based products to drive financial/digital transformation and customer experience initiatives. You are responsible for the prospecting, networking and contact development within the assigned named prospect account list. This is a quota-based position.
What you bring:
- Extensive previous professional experience of working as an Account Manager in a fast-paced, multi-product Financial Technology Services environment with responsibility for increasing sales with new logo acquisition accounts and expanding sales with existing accounts.
- Relationships with senior executives in the insurance industry.
- Ability to analyze problems and produce a range of options to arrive at the preferred solution.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of people including external and internal clients.
- Strong client presentation skills.
- Experience in working with and selling to senior management.
- Strong understanding of financial technology solutions.
- Documented and consistent success in over-achieving goals/quota.
- Rank in the top quartile in prior Sales & Account Management positions among your peers.
