Providence Health Plan is calling a Sales Service Specialist who will:

  • Support the commercial Account Executives, Account Managers, and other Sales team members as assigned in ongoing service activities by representing Providence Health Plans (PHP) to existing and prospective clients, producers and other departments via email, telephone and in person
  • Serve as an integral member of the Commercial Sales Department and as such influences policies, processes and procedures relating to Commercial Sales.

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live in the State of Oregon and Clark County in the State of Washington.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 3 years' experience communicating with customers
  • 3 years' experience working in a detail oriented position with a demonstrated ability to independently analyze data, situations and problem solve
  • 3 years' experience organizing and prioritizing required tasks without prompting in order to meet internal and external required deadlines
  • 3 years' experience answering peer questions with clear, concise and correct answers
  • 3 years' experience adhering to Sales protocols, policies and procedures
  • 3 years' experience in communications (oral, written & interpersonal) with an emphasis on courteous and responsive phone etiquette
  • 3 years experience independently composing basic business correspondence; including but not limited to offering written explanations of Health Plan policies and procedures

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 3 years experience cross-training in large and small group renewals or new group set and quoting
