This sales role will be responsible for creating, developing, and driving sales within the following target markets: Produce growers and re-packers, Food Processors and Distribution Accounts.In addition to serving as a business development partner, this person will also build customer relationships, handle customer complaints and inquiries, and effectively communicate with all appropriate internal departments/personnel.Your career path has many avenues available for you to succeed. Responsibilities:

Promote new products within existing customer base.
Prospecting on new accounts.
Sell value added products to existing accounts: custom print packaging, industrial bags, high end Flexible Packaging, Clamshells, corrugated, packaging machinery, labels, RPC labels, soaker pads, stretch wrap, etc.
Provide timely and accurate sales forecast to procurement and planning teams to ensure inventory levels are up to date.
Identify public relations opportunities.
Work with management to develop marketing communications including marketing collateral, promotional items, direct mail, and the web sites.
Assist in the development of new designs and projects.
Work with outside vendors on new materials and new innovative packaging solutions with regards to produce packaging.
Attend industry trade shows and industry association functions to promote new and existing product.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree in professional Selling, Marketing or Business a plus
Must have 5+ years of outside sales experience in at least one of the following markets: food processing, produce packaging, produce re-packers, custom print packaging, industrial bags, corrugated, flexible packaging, clamshells.
Required to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers and outside parties.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and oral/written communication skills
Ability to utilize acceptable mathematical skills.
Demonstrate a friendly and professional experience.
Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel required.
Significant travel is required, sometimes with overnight stays.
Bilingual will be a plus English Spanish
