Mobile Generation Business Development Manager - We offer unlimited earning potential, flexible hours, and opportunities for growth.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who manages, leads, and mentors a team of frontline sales staff within their location of responsibility. A successful track record of managing retail locations, project management, and direct-to-consumer sales in the Wireless Industry is preferred. The candidate is capable of individually producing superb sales results and coaching others to do the same. Has the ability to understand and deliver on company sales goals, customer satisfaction KPIs, productivity, and overall profitability.
This is a base plus commission position.
Compensation: $67,000 - $87,000 annually

The Position: Business Development Manager.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business or Communications (preferable) or minimum 5 years of applicable or commensurate experience in a similar level role (2 years of successful Retail or Project management experience in Wireless will be considered)
  • Experience with a proven track record in leading retail and independent selling organizations
  • Experience with a proven track record of strong individual sales performance, driving key metrics, and profitability.
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience of the market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
  • Excellent mentoring, training, and development skills
  • Superior business acumen, planning, target goal setting, building a strong sales culture, customer service, visual merchandising, employee relations, and retail operations.
  • Creativity in problem-solving
  • Full-Time Position, Retail hours.
Responsibilities:
  • Meet and Exceed all personal Sales and Operations Goals (Consistently rank within the top 15% of sales staff)
  • Meet and Exceed all Sales and Operations Goals for their Retail Location
  • Increase staff sales, productivity, and profitability through successful coaching/mentoring daily.
  • Develop and Manage a successful strategy for SMB sales throughout a retail store
  • Develop and Manage a successful strategy for Home Internet sales throughout a retail store
  • Meet and Exceed Gross Profit Per Traffic KPI Expectations
  • Build a positive, customer and goal-oriented environment
  • Hire, schedule, supervise, and performance manage a team of Store Managers and Wireless Sales Associates
  • Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others
  • Works directly with District Manager to address performance gaps and increase sales performance, driving key metrics, and profitability.
The Location: Mobile Generation currently operates 28 retail stores across IL, IN, & WI
