As the Director of Sales and Business Development, you will be responsible for leading the sales team and developing strategies to grow the business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth or exceed sales targets
- Lead and manage the sales team to ensure they meet their individual sales targets
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and various channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity
- Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to clients
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote financial products and services
- Analyze market trends and recommend changes to sales strategies as necessary
- Recruit, train, and lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and business goals
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders
- Negotiate and close deals with clients to meet revenue targets
- Analyze sales data and provide regular reports to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record in the financial industry
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of financial products and services and industry trends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, sales forecasting tools and other relevant software programs
