POSITION SUMMARY
The Membership Sales Associate is the key driver for new membership sales at our club using motivational interviewing to help members take that first step toward a healthy lifestyle. Membership Sales Associate at Anytime Fitness get leads through community outreach, referrals, social media, and email, phone and walk-in inquiries. They book appointments through outbound calls, emails and text and enroll new members. The Membership Sales Associate is also a confident representative of the company comforable making community connections, local business partnerships and hosting events, both in the club and in the community.
Once new members enroll at Anytime Fitness, it is also the Membership Sales Associate's responsibility to schedule the new member with their initial orientation to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience. They also help ensure all members are immersed in the community and understand all the tools available to them to help them achieve their goals.

A Membership Sales Associate is a passionate individual who seeks to help members and guests improve their lives through health and fitness. This person is responsible for managing day to day tasks, welcoming guests and members to the gym, selling memberships and attending to member needs. This role requires a considerable amount of self-motivation, drive, desire to increase knowledge and skills, leadership skills, ability to collaborate and communicate, and ability to influence others in a positive way.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction and supervision of the Club Director
- Membership sales – new member acquisition through direct 1-1 sales, outbound marketing, business partnership building, community outreach
- Brand promoters – when you love your gym, others will too. The Membership Sales Manager helps the Club Director establish relationships with businesses in the community to promote the brand through B2B marketing. This person also helps coordinate and execute engagement campaigns, national marketing campaigns, and community outreach efforts using assets and operations created by the Anytime Fitness corporate teams.
- Day-to-day operators – Membership Sales Associate will also take on some club operations tasks daily [running reports, data entry, answering phones/email/digital leads, cleaning, etc.]
- Eager learners - be willing to participate in online workshops, participate in book studies, attend seminars that may require some travel, be fluid (as the industry itself is ever-changing, so is the brand)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 18 years or older
- High School diploma or higher
- Friendly, energetic, outgoing and warm
- Competent with, or willing to learn, Motivational Interviewing
- Genuine and honest with a strong desire to help others
- Available to work flexible hours [mornings, afternoons, evenings, some weekends, community events]
- Technologically savvy and superior organizational skills, including CRM programs and Excel
- Self-motivated and can multi-task
