We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Corporate Real Estate Assistant Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Facilities to oversee the real estate portfolio and support the overall management of our company's properties. You will be responsible for assisting in lease administration, coordinating property maintenance and repairs, conducting property inspections, and providing administrative support to the real estate team. The ideal candidate understands corporate real estate operations, has excellent communication skills, and has the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Facilities in the day-to-day management of the company's real estate portfolio.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leases, contracts, and property-related documents.
- Assist in the coordination of lease administration activities, including lease renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with lease agreements and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Assist with external vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Assist in the negotiation of lease agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Prepare reports and presentations on property performance, occupancy rates, and lease expirations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of real estate strategies to optimize the company's property portfolio.
- Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in corporate real estate or property management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements.
- Ability to travel, sometimes overnight, between all BKF offices including Portland and San Diego.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment.
Location & Salary
- BKF supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work. This position will be based out of Redwood City, San Jose, or San Francisco.
- Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $88,000-$121,000 annually, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and performance.
