eLumen is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Minneapolis office. The ideal candidate has strong sales experience in a collaborative team environment. In this role, you will collaborate with the Customer Development team to help develop the sales direction to institutions nationwide, including contacting higher education institutions to assist in the maximization of sales opportunities.
All over the world, tens of thousands of Colleges, Community Colleges, and Universities teach the next generation of talent. These institutions are under great pressure to provide meaningful instruction that actually prepares students for the real world. Meanwhile, they are also navigating the complex process of managing their curriculum, and meeting the regulatory requirements of their region to receive public funding.
eLumen is a system of record that helps institutional efforts work better by working together. Our integrated Assessment and Curriculum Management system provides real-time insights into student learning outcomes, curricular performance, and student success.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide and keep up to date with market research impacting the direction of sales.
- Assist in managing the prospect qualification process.
- Build relational rapport with potential customers.
- Manage assigned accounts using [please apply online]
- Be a self-starter with a go-getter attitude.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Work within an Agile, continuous deployment development environment.
- Provide expertise and sales knowledge to support other departments.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in Sales or Account Management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative solutioning skills.
- Strong communication, both written and verbal.
- Establish and maintain positive work relationships with all staff, customers and partnerships.
- Able to function and succeed in an agile software development environment.
- Open to occasional domestic travel.
- US Citizenship.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with the Canvas LMS.
- Experience in education technology/higher education.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience and certificates in sales, organizational development, education, communication or related field preferred.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
- Project management experience.
