As a GEICO Sales Agent, the most important thing is being well networked. Our agents have diverse networks with Car Dealers, Mortgage Brokers and beyond. Some of our most successful agents were car sales people, night club promoters, DJ's, bartenders and the more people you know the better you will be at this job. Luckily when you work with GEICO you also get the benefit of many customers coming to us. We are able to provide a number of leads per day to our sales agents that compliment the hard work that is put in networking.

An agent's earnings are a direct reflection of individual experience and performance. Our ideal candidate is bilingual, has auto dealership experience, understands how to capitalize on social media influence, and is a well-connected member of their local community (I.e. Qualifications & Skills:

• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, Property & Casualty Insurance
• Willingness to protect customers by offering insurance and financial products that will meet their needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Punctual with the ability to work a quote to its completion
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume, competitive environment
• A well-connected member of your local community
• Previous sales experience (auto sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) preferred but not required.
• Social media savvy, with high visibility on multiple platforms, preferred but not required.
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
