About Our Opportunity

Mark's distributes over 1,000,000 maintenance products to facilities such as schools, hospitals, hotels, prisons, housing authorities, military bases and plumbing contractors. We typically deal directly with maintenance supervisors, property managers, chief engineers and plumbers. The products we distribute include:

· Plumbing repair parts and fixtures

· HVAC and electrical supplies

· Lighting, fasteners, hardware, door and window parts.

· Painting supplies, specialty chemicals, hand and power tools.

Job Requirements

· A strong work ethic that is career minded and money motivated

· Positive attitude and capable of building long-term relationships

· Must be results oriented and self-motivated

· Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

· Ability to be a traveling outside salesperson

· Develop and maintain relationships with an assigned customer base, including key accounts

· Office from home

Job Responsibilities

· In-the-field servicing of established customers and promoting add-on business

· Develop new business & sales through prospecting

· Writing and processing orders in the field

· Working with the inside sales team to research and expedite orders in a timely manner

· Travel and servicing customers within a specified geographical area on planned routing cycle

Preferred Qualifications

· Bi-Lingual English and Spanish

· Experience working in the plumbing industry

· Prior work history of commission based income from sales

· Ability to develop and close sales with a mechanical aptitude

· Ability to multi-task

· A passion for winning and a desire for a career in sales
