Optima Dealer Services provides Staffing and Consulting Services to the most luxurious auto Dealerships.
The main role as a Sales Porter is to manage for the flow of the Sales Department of Mercedes Benz of Ontario by receiving, moving and parking vehicles to accommodate all sales personnel requests. A Sales Porter must keep the inventory lots organized, park vehicles in every designated area, receive new cars, attend to sales staff requests and more.
Sales Porters strives to provide a 5-Star Treatment by delivering exceptional service to all sales department with a professional, polite, and positive attitude.
*** Able to work on the Weekends is a must***
Key Duties
- Fill waters in the morning (main fridge, front desk, cashiers, third floor fridge).
- Organize delivery at opening, midday and closing.
- Start showroom cars every morning, any dead batteries will need to be taken out and charged. Ensure the Showroom filled at all times with different models and colors.
- Lot must be kept organized at all times (blocks, pads, pre-owned line, showrooms, sales area on roof, lower lot, and office drive.
- Vehicles must be brought back to the Warehouse.
- Check on shipments according to our Mercedes Benz of Ontario Process.
Our office positioned porter will be responsible for the following duties:
- Stocking inventory
- Lot scan
- Lot damage report
- Book/key audits
- Book log (replace when full)
- All forms printed and enough
- Copies on hand at all times
- Track all cars still needing photos
- MSRP check on both new and Used vehicles
- Electric vehicles kept charged and regular vehicles gassed up to quarter of tank
Skills and Qualifications:
- Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
- Highly responsible, professional, and reliable.
- Unrestricted California driver's license and clean driving record.
- Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
- Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
- Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments.
- Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
- Willing to multi-task.
