Full description of the position

The Account Specialist will be responsible for managing a Book of Business (BoB) which includes assisting customers/clients with selecting plans, enrolling in plans, customer service inquiries, general questions/concerns, and establishing a quality relationship with the customer.
VibrantUSA is an independent insurance agency representing more than 25 regional and national insurance companies, and now features more than 30 different Medicare health insurance options! VibrantUSA works directly with individuals who are on Medicare, and we also lend our expertise to insurance and financial professionals who serve the Medicare population. When it comes to finding affordable Medicare insurance and prescription medications, VibrantUSA is here to serve you.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and care to all of VibrantUSA’s customers/clients (special emphasis on serving your own book of business as it grows past 1,200 active customers)
  • Takes point on resolving all issues to ensure customer’s needs are met
  • Interacts with customers throughout the year to make sure their needs are currently being met.
  • Assist the Account Managers with their customers as needed (team) and as directed by company management.
  • Work with customers (either in person or over the phone/email) to review their plan options and potentially assist them in enrolling into a different plan.
  • General office & operational duties such as:
  • Processing applications/enrollments
  • Greeting customers as they arrive for appointments
  • Covering the front desk duties
  • Work with other VibrantUSA teams and departments to assist meeting and exceeding our company goals and objectives.
  • Business functions and/or activities in coordination with the Business Development Manager(s)Assigned networking functions & external facing business development needs.
  • Assist the marketing team with content as requested and assigned.
  • Performs Medicare 101 & Sales Seminars as required or requested for our customers/clients.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
  • State Required Disability and Life Insurance License
  • At least one (1) year of related experience and/or training
  • College degree from an accredited institution preferred, High School diploma or GED acceptable
  • Must be able to contract with all carriers that VibrantUSA contracts with:
  • Ethical conduct Initiative
  • Communication proficiency
  • Time Management
  • Technology proficiency
  • Must demonstrate the organization’s core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm’s culture.
The starting pay is $60,500 - $65,500 plus.
Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to travel between offices (< 10%) and drive to meet with associations, businesses, clients, etc.
