Job Title: Account Manager, Client Services

POSITION SUMMARY
The account manager will develop and maintain effective client relationships with a portfolio of new and existing customers through an active and continuous understanding of key customer needs, preferences, and requirements. This vital role supports the strategic business objective of Sobel Westex by providing an enhanced and personalized customer experience and support, operating as the lead point of contact for customers to include but not limited to generating sales, gathering and managing relevant data and analysis to better meet customer needs, and resolving customer concerns and complaints in a timely and efficient manner. The account manager will coordinate and partner with essential departments to include but not limited to executive leadership, data entry, sales, logistics, planning, quality control, billing, warehouse, and supply to efficiently meet the needs of each customer and create a unique and value customer partnership and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Drives timely communication and response with Sobel Westex customers in all account related matters to maximize customer value proposition and commitment.
o Promote full customer engagement and overall customer satisfaction with Sobel Westex products by maintaining a thorough knowledge of current industry and trends relevant to each customer.
o Lead product roll-out initiatives for customers through a continuous partnership with sales representatives.
o Communicate product value and sustainability to current and prospective clients.
o Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and security of accurate records for the customer in inventory management and strategic communication.
o Manage and resolve conflicts and complaints to preserve customer satisfaction and value proposition, and to minimize further challenges by improving account management processes and procedures to ensure the client receives best-in-class support.
o Leading customer advocate focusing on advancing unique customer engagement and experience.
o Facilitate communication and collaboration between all departments to make sure all aspects of order entry, order shipping, quality control, inventory forecast, account billing, and account collections are handled for each timely and accurately for each customer account.
o Responsible for monitoring sales amounts, account margins, and price lists to ensure alignment with account management objectives and outcomes outlined by Sobel Westex.
o Monitor pipeline and fulfillment timeline reports to maximize supply chain risk management.
o Follow-up on all outstanding account collections and quickly resolve discrepancies.
o Create return orders and credit memos to minimize aged orders.
o Function as a global communication correspondent and liaison with domestic and international customers to increase operations, productivity, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
o Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or closely related field.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
o 3- 5 years in a Customer Service role, preferably in a sales-supported environment.
o Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills
o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
o Willingness to work independently and within a team.
o Ability to easily adapt and succeed in a changing environment.
o Proficient in MS Office applications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
o Current knowledge of relevant technology applications and software, NAV knowledge a plus
o Strong customer orientation and the ability to establish and sustain relationships across varying customer categories.
o Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
