Regional Commercial Sales Leader

Who we are:

Alliance Environmental is an environmental contractor specializing in commercial and residential air duct cleaning, demolition, asbestos, lead paint, mold, legal assessments and removal of hazardous materials. We have 16 offices across CA, WA, OR, Phoenix and Las Vegas, NV.

Job Summary Overview:

The Regional Commercial Sales Leader (RCSL) responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day running of the commercial sales department, consisting of Key Account Managers, of a respective region. The RCSL must be able to motivate the existing commercial sales team and support staff to meet and exceed company budgets as well as training new Key Account Managers. The RCSL holds the team accountable for opening new accounts, performing customer service and increasing sales on existing accounts, and continuing to develop relationships with a diverse range of customers. The RCSL works in a collaborative manner with Operations and Estimators teams to ensure the revenue growth targets of the region and company are met.

Major Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)

  • Motivate existing Key Account Managers to meet or exceed sales budgets
  • Responsible to complete Goals and Controls for accountability each month
  • Train new Key Account Managers on Alliance policies and procedures and protocol
  • Business development, manage and acquire new customers
  • Maintain and grow sales of existing accounts
  • Develop effective business relationships with customers within the region
  • Handle customer requests; problems and complaints, and resolves them
  • Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned by Vice President of Sales and Marketing, CRO, CEO and President of Company
  • Able to travel overnight(s) several times per month to attend industry events and make sales calls with Key Account Managers
  • Ability to work an extended workday and week based on needs of the business. Availability on Saturdays if necessary
  • Will spend 80% of their time in the field working with her/his Key Account Managers
  • Complete routine business reports and special projects as assigned by Senior Leadership

Requirements and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or Related Field
  • 2 yrs. Sales management experience. Directly supervising a team of salespeople
  • Excellent Organization Skills
  • Excellent collaborator and team player
  • Able to support and assist other departments with their objectives
  • Able to thrive and maintain focus and efficiency in a fast paced, constantly changing business environment
  • Intermediate skill level with Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
  • Excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Attention to detail
  • Min. 5 years experience in Sales/Marketing role
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral
  • Able to inspire and lead subordinates to established sales targets and hold team members accountable
  • Excellent solution skills that translate into effective tactics to increase sales growth rate
  • Able to meet changing deadlines and special requests
  • Work well under minimal supervision and work well with a team
  • Resourceful, able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Comfortable and effective at leading sales presentations in front of small to medium size audiences

Job Type-Full Time

Salary: $120K- $160K per year + Bonus
