FORTUNE 100 CPG/ CHEMICAL MFG COMPANY (GLOBAL)
REMOTE POSITION BUT MUST BE LOCATED THE NORTHEAST (PA, DE, NY, NJ, OH, VA)
SR AREA SALES MANAGER -

SALARY: $140-190K PLUS BONUS/INCENTIVES

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 5+ years experience in sales strategy and develops action plans for area of responsibility in line with strategic priorities.
- Coordinates execution of customer roadmap and ensures closure of CRM (e.g., ACE) projects.
- Actively manages implementation of SBU pricing strategy.
- Builds and maintains solid relationships with customers in the assigned region.
- Drives implementation of key strategic initiatives in sales area
- Delivers sales and distribution targets (KP OSG and PC % and / or GP% targets) in sales area.
- Leads, coaches and mentors sales team members and ensures their respective education and development. Must have regional or area/ multi-site / multi-state experience
- Ensures efficient geographical coverage and cross-selling opportunities to achieve full business potential (sales and profit)
- Coordinates tasks between key interfaces and ensures fulfillment of administrative tasks.
- Collaborates with Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain etc. to ensure full internal support for sales team.
- Ensures compliant execution of sales processes (e.g., pricing, customer data management)
- Provides sales forecast for the sales area and monitors key KPIs.
- Manages relationships and plans with distribution partners, monitors their financial performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Prior Leadership Experience in Sales, 5 - 10 years required in adhesive or chemical mfg
- Prior Sales Experience - 5 years required in chemical/adhesive or related mfg -
- Travel required - up to 40%, or less
- Must be a self-starter and entrepreneurial seller.
- Seniority Level - Mid-Senior
- Management Experience Required overseeing other sales managers within a region
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical highly preferred
- Candidates that are results focused, and a track record of success and promotion with a Fortune 100 highly progressive and innovative Mfg companny (Unilever, P&G, 3M, KIMBERLY CLARK, ETC)
- Must be highly promotable and show a history of progression and promotion in career history
- Strong understanding of the most progressive and innovative sales strategy within MFG
