Job Description

We are seeking sales representatives with an outgoing, energetic, proactive and positive attitude to join our team. You will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing customers, promoting and profitably selling Cal-Duct’s products and services and hunting down new opportunities.

Knowledge of the Underground Utility Market, Electrical Supplies and Street Lighting is highly encouraged.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain ethical relationships.
• Seek out prospective business opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Implement a sales plan to support sales and profitability goals.
• Write up customer orders and complete pricing bills of material, project management and problem solving.
• Follow-up on all generated quotations to assure that the customer is being serviced and document the outcome of the proposed solution
• Coordinate customer returns and complete proper documentation on a timely basis.
• Complete sales call logs/CRM reporting and expense reports on a timely basis in accordance with company policy.
• Develop an effective and productive working relationship with other Sales Associates, Counter Sales Associates and support personnel; encourage and assist in their training and development when possible.
• Develop and maintain a sales forecast to help analyze market conditions and/or changes for maximum productivity and sales growth. Report conclusions to management.
• Stay current on emerging products and technologies and inform assigned accounts.
• Inform customers of all relevant company policies/procedures and initiatives. Report customer comments or concerns to management.
• Routinely communicates schedule to manager.
• Proficiency in Epicor Profit 21 Distribution software operating system.

Licenses:

• Valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

• Outside sales: 1 year (Required)
• B2B Construction Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
• working in the Electrical, Dry Utility or Wet Utility market: 1 year (Preferred)
