POSITION SUMMARY
A Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting and coaching Outside Sales Representatives, to developing new business opportunities and extracting more value from current customers in the heavy-duty commercial vehicle industry. This role requires an energetic, creative, process-driven, and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit Outside Sales Representatives to Noregon in the determined areas
- Coach Outside Sales Representatives with in selling strategies for Noregon products and services.
- Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives.
- Coach and mentor Outside Sales Representatives to sell the value of Noregon products to prospects by articulating how our solutions meet their needs and improve their business.
- Manage a regional pipeline of Outside Sales Representatives and monthly sales forecast as well as activity tracking within CRM/ERP Application
- Report regional data to Zone Leader
- Manage sales initiatives towards prescribed target customer base.
- Assist with aggressively driving Outside Sales Representatives product and service program launches from inception to sales.
- Ability to work with and assist Outside Sales Representatives in developing and executing a detailed business plan to manage and grow revenue opportunities from within the existing business and new prospects within their market.
- Coordinate with the inside sales team, training team, and other sales departments to manage customer expectations.
- Utilize CRM/ERP to record, maintain, and report customer information. Maintain all sales related shared files.
- Coordinate training initiatives with Outside Sales Representatives
- Assist Outside Sales Representatives in reporting needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum of Associate degree required.
- Professional Sales Training Preferred
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Effective communication, both written and verbally, within Sales & Other company departments as well as Outside Sales Representatives and Customers
- Solid negotiation, time management, prioritization, and organization skills
- Ability to think strategically about the impact to the company’s long-term business strategy.
- Exemplary presentation skills with the ability to present in front of large and small groups of people at various levels within an organization.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding an annual quota.
- Advanced selling capability that showcases commitment to sales and company strategy, customer satisfaction, negotiation, and ability to close as well as the ability to coach others in those areas.
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Ability to grow professionally in a fluid and fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent follow up skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with customers and contractors, both internal and external.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, ERP software and relevant software applications
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position will have supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This Job Operated in a home office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment.
- Hours will be divided between working out of a home office and traveling.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This is active role with some on and off-site vehicle demonstration may be required. This would require the ability to enter heavy-duty trucks and gain access to various engine components as needed, in addition to standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, bending and stooping as necessary.
- Basic motor skills and manual dexterity for extensive computer usage are required.
- Sitting for extended periods of time is required.
- Talking, hearing and close vision abilities are required.
- Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to withstand the stress of traveling, including extended hours driving.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Up to 75% including some International Travel
