As the Territory Account Manager, youll grow your Sales skills by developing and delivering a territory sales plan (by market and application) that will grow revenue across North Carolina, West Virginia, and Virginia. Youll be solutions focused and master the basic features and benefits of our primary products to determine solutions that resolve customer problems.

Responsibilities:
Build the plans and strategies for developing a successful commercial funnel and exceeding sales goals.

Apply Daily Management / Visual Management and Problem Solving to drive organization direction and activity.

Maintain direct contact with customer accounts in geographic area of assigned responsibility & monitor customer satisfaction, industry trends & driven product offerings, strategies and activity.

Build and adapt an individualized communication approach to customers to understand customer needs and remain adaptable to changing customer goals and challenges.

Profile and develop relationships with key executives (Managers, Directors, VPs) within your focus account / territory

Optimally partner sales resources including applications engineers, product teams, channel partners & inside sales support

Use Dynamics CRM for opportunities, leads, funnel, and tracking

Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience in sales and account management

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred

Strong time management, problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and prioritize key customers

Fully developed tactical sales skills including: prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers

Consistent record of quota attainment selling technical products and/or capital equipment by applying a defined sales process

Proven success calling on a diverse sales territory consisting of commercial accounts and public universities

Shown success prospecting for and closing new business

Highly motivated self-starter

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to travel up to 50% of the year
