The position is responsible for developing relationships with local businesses to acquire commercial customer accounts. Activities will include the development and execution of prospecting and account penetration plans that increase new business, cross selling and up selling our vast portfolio of insurance products.

Salary Range: $50000.00 - $75000.00 per year

• Contact prospective Business to Business clients and present commercial insurance proposals to attract new customers.
• Develop and implement an acquisition plan in conjunction with the agency management to achieve personal and company goals.
• Monitor progress against those goals at regular intervals so that adjustments can be made, and goals can be achieved.
• Deepen relationships with existing agency clients and develop opportunities for additional product sales.
• Adhere to all agency guidelines and business procedures and work effectively with other agency personnel.

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Ability to build relationships and identify centers of influence.
• Strong desire for financial success.
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Minimum 3-5 years prior sales experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing.
• No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn
