Sales Development Representative Manager, EverCommerce Payment Solutions – HYBRID REMOTE/IN OFFICE (Denver)

You can learn more about our Company, Culture and Values here: [please apply online] We are looking for a Manager for Sales Development to lead a team focusing on our payments product line powered by PaySimple. PaySimple is the leading provider of payment management solutions for over 20,000 SMBs. Our APIs and SaaS products provide payment acceptance, billing automation, client management, ecommerce, mobile, and point-of-sale solutions tailored to the needs of service-based businesses.
In this role, you will be leading a team, working with our EverCommerce brands to help uncover sales and cross-sell opportunities and help prospects through the buyer journey. This is an opportunity to expand and grow a team, working with our engaged and persistent SDRs and scaling the department with additional team members. You are energized by coaching, motivating, hiring, and scaling a team of SDRs and bring experience in SaaS or payments technology. As a leader, you rely on data and create repeatable processes that perform at scale. You are well-versed in the latest best practices for messaging, design of outbound strategy, leveraging sales-engagement technology, and creating/managing metrics for individual and team performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and lead the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team
  • Work to ensure consistent Sales and Marketing alignment and integrate the SDR motion into our overall demand generation approach
  • Build a strong knowledge of our buyer personas, product offering, target accounts and competitors
  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to create effective sales development playbooks and processes
  • Monitor and experiment across SDR cadences and outreach methods to identify and replicate successes and ensure lead and opportunity goals are achieved
  • Evaluate and refine lead management processes in collaboration with marketing, sales and partner teams
  • Own and manage our sales engagement tech platform(s) to ensure that we are focusing on curated, high quality, tailored messaging directed specifically at our target accounts
  • Optimize reporting in our tech stack to monitor SDR performance and analyze results
  • Provide management of SDR performance, pipeline creation, and vertical coverage reports
  • Manage leads, account lists, and prospect data to ensure that we are surfacing the best, most highly targeted prospects to the SDR team
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in our process
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in leading direct sales roles or as an SDR/BDR manager in a high-growth environment
  • Creative thinker; comfortable with ambiguity and the development of repeatable processes
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills for direct report leadership
  • Detail oriented, tenacious, responsible, and self-motivated
  • Process and data-driven with a strong analytical mindset
  • Expert in both managing data and maintaining its integrity
  • Excellent written communication skills and a knack for writing prospecting content that converts
  • Experience with an outbound target account motion and inbound/outbound follow-up
  • Experience in lead funnel management, lead creation, opportunity delivery and tracking processes
  • Experience successfully managing and developing a team in a hybrid remote/office environment
  • Ability to work from home with a reliable internet connection and distraction-free environment
  • Experience in using Salesforce CRM as a system of record for all prospecting and sales data
  • Experience managing and leveraging a sales-engagement platform, such as SalesLoft, Outreach, etc.
Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role is based in Denver, CO – and is a hybrid role. Compensation:
The on-target earnings compensation (base + commissions) for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 USD base per year with commission opportunity up to 120OTE in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
