ABOUT AAA HOOSIER MOTOR CLUB:
AAA Hoosier Motor Club, headquartered in Indianapolis, provides membership benefits including emergency roadside assistance, retail discounts, and a variety of products and services for its 400,000 members across Indiana. It also operates a full-service travel agency and an insurance agency which markets and sells auto, home, and life insurance. Hoosier Motor Club has 300 employees and operates 12 retail branch offices including seven in metro Indianapolis as well as Bloomington, Clarksville, Kokomo, Lafayette, Muncie, and Terre Haute, and is an affiliate of the American Automobile Association (AAA), the largest motoring and leisure travel organization in North America with more than 60 million members.
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This is a revenue-generating position. Responsible for growing AAA Hoosier Motor Club membership through corporate and group sales. Work involves identifying, cultivating, recruiting, and retaining new memberships and maintaining a portfolio of current members. The manager will develop and implement programs designed to attract business to ensure program and revenue support for Hoosier Motor Club.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement effective corporate and group membership sales and strategies.
- Develop marketing programs that create interest for targeted companies/groups.
- Develop and manage prospective and new member acquisitions.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with a portfolio of members for enhanced engagement and investment.
- Identify corporate/group sales opportunities and initiates contact with appropriate representatives. Effectively communicate benefits of AAA products and services. Make written and oral presentations to company executives and groups of employees.
- Provide business contacts with corporate/group sales materials to introduce corporate/group sales program. Ensure that requested items are promptly provided.
- Facilitate monthly Member Orientation Meeting presentations.
- Obtain and maintain knowledge of assigned target industries, industry trends and influencers, as well as general knowledge about the business community of the 50-county region served by the Club.
- Assist with the development and execution of marketing plans and materials, target company lists and marketing ally lists to mine for new members.
- Analyze sales and industry trends and makes appropriate recommendations to ensure long-range planning needs are met.
- Meet monthly average quotas for memberships sold.
- Represent Club at corporate and community events, as needed.
- Coordinate Club involvement in trade shows, conferences, and other public gatherings where corporate/group sales are a possibility.
- Develop, grow, and maintain local Discount and Rewards partners.
- Keeps management informed of all activity, including but not limited to, weekly updates relative to calls made, appointments scheduled, and memberships secured.
- Processes paperwork for each corporate/group sale and each corporate/group renewal.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business; or a related field preferred, and a minimum 5 years of sales experience; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of position.
