Inside Sales Representative
Reports to: Director of Inside Sales

SUMMARY*
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for expanding the company’s Healthcare Waste and Compliance services by selling Regulated Medical Waste and CORE programs, by actively pursuing and obtaining new business within defined sales territory. The focus will be on developing lasting business relationships with healthcare customers and expanding all accounts to utilize all Trilogy services.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Develop and implement marketing and sales plan to identify, pursue and earn business from targeted customers within a territory
- Actively pursue new business opportunities with generators of biohazardous, pharmaceutical and hazardous waste, as well as confidential document destruction and special waste, this includes selling the platform and applications of Birds Eye Technologies
- Must manage in a way to achieve sales goals
- Provide proposals and options that differentiate our services from our competition and that add value to our service offerings; efficiently follow up on proposals and leads and convert them into new business
- Schedule and follow up with customer visits/meetings in an organized manner to achieve maximum results
- Find and develop opportunities to work within industry groups and other networking organizations to increase customer growth opportunities
- Coordinates project management tasks including post-audit summary, program descriptions, analysis reports, and any other activities related to waste management systems and programs
- Researching information to provide solutions and responses to customer’s requests, coordinating customer’s waste pickup service needs
- Internal contact with Business Development Team (sales manager, business development manager, and customer service staff) on a regular basis; pro-actively interfaces with area peers to achieve business goals
- Will work closely with customer service representatives to assist in managing customer needs and expectations
- Will work closely with operations to come up with sales strategies and target areas for their respective service regions
- External contact with all levels of customer management and staff on a continual basis
- Learn and drive profitable new business utilizing analysis techniques, CORE program calculator and gross margin tools provided
- Assist with the collection of overdue amounts from customers with outstanding balances
- Performs other related duties as required or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS*
- Education equivalent to bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, a science, or environ-mental discipline, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance/experience managing customer compliance programs
- Three to five years of direct sales experience, demonstrating the ability to manage internal and external customer relationships
- Demonstrates sound knowledge and understanding of basic P&L, revenue, assets, budgets (capital and annual), number of accounts, etc.

- Additional hours as job duties demand

TRAVEL-OTHER*
- Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%)
- Must have a current, valid driver's license
- Able to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policy
