We are looking for a Clinical Sales Liaison / Hospital Business Development professional to join our team!
We need someone familiar with the Colorado Springs areato send referrals our long-term acute care hospitals in Denver and Aurora
Kindred Hospitals are long-term acute care hospitals, we offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our staff plays a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. We have two locations:
- Kindred Hospital Denver and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is an all-private room 81-bed hospital. With 68 long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital beds, we offer the same critical care that patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Similarly, our 13-bed ARU is designed for our patients who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness. We are located on one of Denver’s important medical campuses, just east of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center at: 1920 High Street, Denver, CO 80218.
- Kindred Hospital Aurora is an all-private room, 37-bed long-term acute care hospital we offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. We are best known for our wound care program, successful pulmonary outcomes and ventilator patient management. We are located in Aurora on the east side of the Denver metroplex at the junction of I-225 at 6th Avenue; our facility is on the 2nd floor of the Medical Center of Aurora North building at: 700 Potomac St., 2nd Floor, Aurora, CO 80011.
As a Clinical Liaison you will:
- Conducts patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission into the system.
- Responsible for managing the referrals and admissions that are generated through their assigned hospitals and territories by representing the hospital with professionalism to referral sources.
- Designs and manages the marketing strategies for their assigned hospitals.
- Conduct one on one contacts with potential referral sources, maintain positive relationships with current referral sources.
- Utilizing educational opportunities to present the hospital to referral sources.
- Identifies, contacts and manages potential clients.
- Sources potential, appropriate patients for hospital.
- Coordinates transmission of clinical and benefit treatment to patients, families and outside agencies.
- Acts as liaison for outside agencies, non-plan facilities, and outside providers. Performs 80% or more of work outside the hospital.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree required.
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, healthcare administration, nursing, or other related field strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clinical license preferred; Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Respiratory Therapist (RT)
- Minimum two (2) years of former healthcare sales experience strongly preferred.
- Extensive healthcare sales work experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
- Formal sales training preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.72 - $47.59 per hour
