Purpose:
To maximize sales revenue and gross profit by developing new customers and ensuring continued customer satisfaction of existing accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This will be a hybrid remote position.
- This position will be supporting our plant in Longview, TX.
- Promotes sale of products and services by:
- Contacting, qualifying, developing and quoting prospective customers via telephone and in person directed by the Account Management Program.
- Maintaining relations with current accounts via telephone and or in person as determined by the Account management Program, the National Sales Manager, and/or the Branch and Regional Managers.
- Ensures customer satisfaction of assigned accounts by:
- Maintaining continual customer contact via telephone and email as directed by the Account management Program, the National Sales Manager and/or the Branch and Regional Managers.
- Visiting accounts to make formal presentations provide technical engineering advice, or to respond to Customer or Associate requests may be occasionally required.
- Provides management with information to be communicated to appropriate departments by:
- Submitting expense reports, itineraries, Customer profiles and contact reports, etc.
- Monitors status of sales efforts by:
- Tracking the progress of recent customer quotations, the acceptance of proposed application recommendations and the bookings of purchase orders received by utilizing the database in concert with Customer Service.
- Supports company quality system by:
- Following, understanding and practicing company policies, procedures and work instructions as described in the quality manual.
- Contributes to company success by:
- Performing any other functions or duties as may be assigned or determined by the management of the company. Accepting full responsibility for the quality of their job with complete conformance to customer expectations and requirements.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Bachelors Degree and 3-5 years of related account management or sales experience.
3-5 years with Fastener Industry. 3-5 years with Industrial/Commercial Product Experience a Plus.
Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
