JOB TITLE: Licensed Health Insurance Agent

JOB SUMMARY: Generates revenue by developing market potential through excellent customer service, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales; recommending new products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Florida 2-40 or 2-15 health insurance license required.
• At least one (1) year of proven sales experience. Call center experience or previous experience as an employed agent (not independent) is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bilingual- English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Must exhibit friendly, polite, and professional communication in person and via phone, e-mail, and mail.
• Must be meticulous, initiative-taking, organized, and have presentation skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enroll new members, renew existing members, and provide retention customer service after enrollment.
• Strategically service and maintain assigned book of business to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, conducting client needs analyses, and recommending appropriate insurance products.
• Interview prospective clients to gather data about their insurance needs and discuss existing coverage.
• Explain the features, advantages, and disadvantages of various insurance policies to promote sales.
• Process and maintain all correspondence, paperwork, reports, and files related to client accounts.
• Proactively communicate with clients at renewal time to inform them about any changes that may affect their coverage, and assist them with any revisions to their coverage.
• Participate in assigned events to promote networking and establish connections with potential clients.
• Generate new business by proactively seeking and cultivating referrals from existing clients.
• Perform any other tasks assigned as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on company activities, industry trends, and government regulations to enhance client relationships.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
