Full description of the position

You must have a successful track record of sales management in capital asset product sales and rentals. The ideal candidate will have worked extensively for companies who sell traditional heavy machinery, construction and roadbuilding equipment, environmental products, and outside rental sales.

You have a proven record of guiding sales teams to success and quota achievement while developing sales talent and stepping up to performance issues promptly and decisively. You are a strong coach, guiding your team in sales process orientation, business development execution and effective relationship building.

You can lead your sales team by doing. You coach and mentor your team to overcome resistance and achieve success in a competitive environment where you frequently must sell value over price.

You are an asset to company executive management by advising the President concerning sales and management, financial issues, quality control, equipment inventories, staffing and training and customer relations.

You work closely and effectively with operations management and service departments to ensure strong teamwork, excellent communications and high-quality customer service and satisfaction.

You can jump into critical situations and lead both the sales and the project management efforts to ensure positive outcomes. You are familiar with sales automation tools and can guide your time in their acceptance and use.

You should have consistently earned at least $100,000 annually in the past.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year

• Sales management: 4 years (Required)
