Norman Love Confections is expanding our sales team and looking to hire an additional SALES SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE. This is a full-time, year-round position that will be based out of our corporate office in Fort Myers.

The Sales Support Representative is will be part of a team that reports to the Director of Sales. This team is responsible for providing direct customer service to customers, regardless of the origination of the customer’s transaction (phone purchase, online purchase or in store purchase). In addition, the Sales Support Team provides support to the Sales Team and their corporate / wholesale clients which includes general office responsibilities, administrative tasks, prospecting and in some cases networking.

Within the Sales Support Team, the individual being hire for this role will be directly responsible for coordinating social media and marketing efforts on behalf of the department. An ideal candidate will have prior related experience.

General responsibilities for the Sales Support Team include but are not limited to the following:

Customer Service:

· Responsible for ensuring that all customer communication, both via email and phone, is handled in a timely, professional, and sincere manner.

· Responsible for monitoring order delivery to ensure that the shipment of packages and in-store corporate order pickups are exceeding customer expectations.

· Responsible for ensuring accuracy with shipping addresses.

· When needed, filing claims for packages delivered damaged, delivered late or not delivered.

Sales & Financial:

· Responsible for utilizing product knowledge and sales training to increase confidence when working with customers and as a result help maximize sales revenue. Suggestive sell.

· Responsible for directly entering all orders.

· Ensuring that all sales are captured / billed timely and accurately.

Business Operations:

· Responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the office.

· Assisting with general office tasks as needed.

· Ensuring that the customer databases managed within the office are maintained and cleaned as needed.

Training & Development:

· Responsible to always learn about our existing product line as well as specialty / seasonal products so that you can be knowledgeable when taking care of our customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
