Financial Sales Associate Job Description

As a Financial Sales Associate, you can’t be afraid of picking up the phone, as you will be responsible for contacting interested prospects and coordinating meetings for our advisory team.

We are looking for someone who has an excellent personality, sophisticated inter-personal skills, extremely ambitious, who is very hard working.

Your job will include everything from making outbound phone calls to attending meetings, and interacting with prospects and clients in person and over the phone. Successful candidates will also support office administrative initiatives; as well as ongoing business development projects.

In this position you will be responsible for understanding firm policies, procedures and digital capabilities that will allow you to interact with our new and existing clients. You will also learn to understand our process in building successful investment strategies, and have the ability to gain valuable experience in adhering to deadlines and surpassing metrics as you build a successful career at our Zacks.

Core Responsibilities:

-Make outbound calls daily to qualify and set meetings with high-net worth investors who have responded to the firm’s marketing and advertising efforts.

-Take inbound calls and provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

-In person meetings with prospects

- Efficiently perform operational activities

-Tasks associated to a variety of business development projects ongoing

Qualifications:

-College Degree from a credited, 4 year institution

-Excellent Interpersonal Skills

-Incredibly hard working & ambitious

-Strong writing skills

-Goal oriented, highly organized, articulate with strong communication skills.

-Financial and/or sales experience is a plus.

- FINRA Series 65 License. * (Or ability to obtain the FINRA Series 65 license within six months of hire)
