Urgently hiring experienced Commercial Lines Client Managers. We are looking for a seasoned client manager to grow alongside us. Hammond Insurance offers competitive compensation, through a combination of salary and a robust benefits package to match.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper level of communication and build effective relationships with clients
• Maintain strong collaboration with agency staff members and carrier staff
• Identify sales opportunities within commercial lines and cross-sales opportunities for other agency departments
• Acquire updated client information to submit to carriers, for quotes, renewals and endorsements
• Review the client’s potential exposure to loss, explain and recommend coverage upgrades and options to meet the client’s specific needs and provide quotes
• Market and write new policies for clients
• Review and analyze new and renewal policies for accuracy and initiate corrective action as needed
• Facilitate claims with appropriate follow up
• Maintain proper documentation of all customer files
• Resolve issues related to billing, policy renewals and endorsements, loss control requirements, audits, cancellations and reinstatements
• Respond to policy coverage related questions in a timely and professional manner
• Issue proof of insurance as needed
• Perform customer service tasks in meeting agency objectives, adhering to agency standards and workflows
• Respond to various carrier requests
• Accept and process premium payments
• Maintain updated knowledge of policy provisions and coverages available for all commercial lines insurance products
• Maintain updated information on carrier products and guidelines
• Manage time and workload to consistently meet client and policy deadlines
• Assist in training new hires
• Consistently support other agency team members
• Perform other duties as assigned for the success and maintenance of the agency

Qualifications

• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and enthusiastic attitude
• Reliable, resourceful and goal-oriented
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening skills, and the desire to expand your knowledge base within the insurance industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
