EPG [please apply online] is currently seeking a full-time Sales Engineer for one of our partners that is a leading manufacturer of power electromechanical relays. In this position, you will oversee and grow the company’s market share in the region and work with the engineering teams to identify new product opportunities. The hiring company is well-established within the relay industry and continues to grow revenue every year, this position will be vital in maintaining and accelerating that growth with customers.

Responsibilities

• Produce a business plan to achieve growth and set KPI goals
• Oversee current business in designated territories by reviewing forecasts, backlog, and inventory levels. Build and maintain rapport with key clients.
• Oversee the selection of proper representative firms for the region and maintain a strong relationship with them and their representatives. Provide them with support and updates while monitoring their customer service and support interactions.
• Gather market information from the customer base for new products and potential new products.
• Work with OEM engineering staff to identify new product applications and opportunities.
• Provide the company with regular monthly, quarterly and end of year customer updates and business reports.
• Establish and adjust product prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
• Expand the customer base by identifying markets and customers that the company should be targeting, counseling and providing technical support to sales representative firms, visiting the territories on a regular basis, and following through with sample/design opportunities until closure.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a sales engineer, account management, or manufacturing engineering position
• Bachelor’s degree, engineering preferred
• Technical knowledge of electromechanical or mechanical devices such as relays, actuators, sensors, vacuum pumps, and other related equipment.
• Someone that is self driven, a visionary, and confident in their abilities
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred

• Knowledge of relays
• International business experience, Asia preferred
• Experience with and knowledge of electric vehicles (EV) and their components
• Spanish or Mandarin speaking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
