What You'll Do:
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of junior bookkeepers to complete monthly and quarterly financial close and reporting for our small and mid-sized business clients
- Client Relations: Establish strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor in all accounting-related matters. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and deliver exceptional service.
- Bookkeeping oversight: Lead weekly and monthly bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial close, and financial statement preparation. Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks and coordination with clients.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate existing accounting processes and identify opportunities for enhancement. Implement efficient systems and procedures to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Provide meaningful insights to senior management and clients for informed decision-making.
What You'll Bring:
- Associates/Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Extensive QuickBooks Online experience.
- 3-5 years of bookkeeping and/or public accounting experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and senior management.
- Loves working with small and medium sized businesses.
- Problem-solving mindset with a passion for growth and learning.
- Enthusiastic about learning new technology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail
