Then RSC would love to hear from you! We are actively seeking Logistic Carrier Sales Representatives to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, with specific experience in procurement, industry load boards, and developing relationships with carriers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers through proactive outreach and effective communication.
• Source, negotiate, and book freight shipments with carriers using DAT and Truckstop platforms.
• Utilize market knowledge and industry insights to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both carriers and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize freight movement and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all carrier interactions, freight rates, and shipment details in relevant systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics and carrier sales, with proven expertise in using DAT and Truckstop platforms.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a sense of urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Basic knowledge in using relevant software and technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management systems (TMS).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $127,000.00 per year
