Midwest Insurance Brokerage Service, is looking for an experienced, Property & Casualty Account Specialist to join our team. This candidate should have a positive attitude, great communication skills, and be a team player.

Position Summary:

As an Account Specialist and a valued member of our team, you will be focused on commercial quoting and servicing commercial accounts. This position will require you to provide excellent support to our customers, brokers, and insurance carriers.

Responsibilities:

· Provide quality professional customer service

· Quoting, processing and submissions of new and renewal business

· Answering coverage inquiries, policy cancellations and rewrites

· Process endorsements

· Issue Certificates of Insurance

· Communicate effectively with brokers, customers, insurance representatives, and other team members

· Develop, coordinate, and pull together insurance coverage proposal presentations.

· Reviewing existing insurance coverage and remarketing where needed

· Maintain information in management systems

· Recommend improvements and suggest solutions

· Other duties as requested

Qualifications:

· Insurance industry experience (Preferred)

· Great customer service skills

· Excellent communication skills- verbal, written and listening

· Candidate must have general computer skills

· Ability to work independently and in a team setting

· Ability to multi task without overlooking the details

· Ability to organize and prioritize work

· Positive attitude towards peers, carriers and clients

· Proactive in problem solving

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
