Wiers is a fast-growing company that operates International Truck Dealerships and Fleet Partners Service Centers in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Colorado, Texas, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Established in 1964, Wiers maintains and repairs class 3-8 vehicles including commercial vans, super-duty trucks, straight trucks, tractors, and trailers. Wiers Service Centers are operated by experienced professional managers who bring exceptional capabilities to a friendly and family-oriented environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

· Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions, and campaigns.

· Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Department staff.

· Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally.

· Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures.

· Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.

· Handling and resolving designated customer issues regarding a product or service.

· Setting discount rates and determining price schedules

· Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners

· Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation.

· Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients.

· Meeting sales quotas and goals.

· Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team.

· Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities.

· Defining and executing territory sales plans.

Qualification Profile

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • 5 to 7 years Sales Leadership experience.
  • Time management and goal setting skills.
  • Passion to lead and develop sales professionals.
  • Self-starter with the discipline to focus on driving teams to close deals.
  • Strong desire to help others find a better solution.
  • Ability to clearly communicate our value proposition to a prospective customer.
  • Positive tone and know-how to drive a conversation.
  • Ability to accept frequent "not interested" comments and not be deterred.
  • Ability to understand, apply and use personal computers and software applications.
  • Experience with Sales Force, Hubspot or other CRM required.
