- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive new business growth within the Central and South American market.
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities and establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services to customers.
- Develop and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals to prospects and customers.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts with new customers.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to network and promote the company's products and services.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and revenue reports to management.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and resolve any customer issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Travel at least 35% - 45%
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development within the maritime marine electronics industry.
- Computer skills including MS Office, E-mail, Internet, and Customer Relationship Managment (CRM) database experience.
- Proven track record of driving new business growth and expanding market share.
- Strong understanding of the Central and South American market, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
