We're looking for a Lighting Sales Professional for our Fort Lauderdale, FL location. This role is perfect for ambitious and driven individuals who enjoy working in a high-performance environment and have an eye for interior design.

This role's rate of pay is $19 per hour plus a 3% commission

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Consult with a wide range of customers, including homeowners, builders, and designers to assist in the purchase of lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, accent furniture, and other home décor.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers throughout the sales process and beyond ensuring an exceptional customer experience, return customers and referrals.
• Establish buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts.
• Strong sales skills and ability to enhance product knowledge to become a subject matter expert.
• Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, and willingness to develop these abilities.
• Additional duties as required.

Requirements:

• Strong computer skills and strong multi-tasking skills.
• Successful sales track record in consultative selling environments
• Two (2) year of previous retail sales experience or related experience preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; college degree or currently pursuing preferred.
