FLSmidth Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Mexico, Central Am. & Caribbean Reg. for its office in Greenwood Village, CO to support material handling and mineral processing business in mining industry throughout assigned region, including facilitating key account management and sales growth activities for new equipment packages, aftermarket services, and spare and wear parts. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Mining, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mineral Processing Engineering, or foreign equivalent. Experience must be gained in job offered or a technical sales engineering or management position in the mining-related material handling and mineral processing industry; and 2 years of experience with each of the following: developing material handling and mineral processing proposals in the mining industry for new equipment packages, aftermarket services, and spare and wear parts, including executing associated scopes of work and supply, vendor estimates, engineering orders, and fabrication, installation, commission, and start-up support service activities; developing detailed customer proposals for material handling and mineral processing projects in the mining industry for new equipment packages, aftermarket services, and spare and wear parts, including negotiating and clarifying contractual terms and issues with high-level client and vendor representatives, performing pricing calculations, and executing contracts; preparing engineering and equipment specifications for material handling and mineral processing projects in the mining industry, including evaluating vendor offers and technical bids; performing market analyses and sales strategy and planning for material handling and mineral processing projects in the mining industry; leading or supporting the sale of large, multimillion dollar material handling and mineral processing new equipment packages in the mining industry, including stackers, reclaimers, conveyors, crushers, sag and ball mills, and HPGRs, as well as aftermarket equipment service packages for preventative maintenance and predictive and corrective services; managing offer and order management lifecycles for mining industry related material handling and mineral processing equipment spare and wear parts utilizing CRM (customer relationship management) software, SAP PP systems, and industry specific spare parts catalogue software. Experience can be acquired concurrently. The incumbent will be required to travel internationally approximately 40% of time.
