General Description

The Performance Group, a leading regional provider of temporary and professional staffing services, is seeking a qualified INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE to add to our team. The Inside Sales Rep will support Field Sales Representatives with a primary focus on identifying prospective clients and key decision-makers, establishing initial communications, and securing introductory meetings and/or contract discussions for Field Sales Reps. Ideal candidates will blend an aggressive, Sales-oriented perspective with a personable, Customer Service-oriented nature. The ability to work effectively within a team structure is a must!

Essential Job Functions

• Identifying prospective clients through online research, database sourcing, proactive outreach and cold-calling, and referral programs
• Initiating communication and developing relationships with prospective client decision-makers to communicate and promote company services, products, and promotional offers
• Maintaining prospective client files in our computer systems and documenting key interactions
• Developing tailored marketing materials and strategies to effectively promote company sales
• Maintaining relevant company social media accounts to provide consistent presence and targeted postings

Requirements/Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a Sales or Customer Service role preferred
• Staffing Industry experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent written communication skills. Must be able to produce professional e-mails and online communications free of grammatical and/or spelling errors
• Excellent verbal communication skills. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively and comfortably by phone, among various levels of an organization
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and practices

Salary/Compensation

$50,000 base salary plus commissions
