Job Class: (SSC) Sales Staff Commissioned

Hourly Range: $24 - $28 plus commission

Summary: Responsible for direct phone selling from prospecting through closing of Air-Weigh on-board scales products in assigned region to owner/operators and small fleets (1 to 25 trucks).Requires own lead research, prospecting, cold calls, incoming calls, and customer service. Occasional travel may be possible for tradeshow events.

Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday thru Friday; extra hours as necessary.

Primary job duties:

• Meet established goal of cold calls to qualified sales prospects
• Identify qualified sales prospects using internet, fleet database and cold calls
• Emphasize products based on customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of products
• Develop and close direct sales in assigned region
• Sales order entry, literature fulfillment and sales reporting using automated systems
• Use CRM software to manage prospect and customer communication
• Work within company guidelines, policies and procedures

Secondary duties:

• Tradeshow participation including booth setup, floor selling, teardown
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Other tasks as assigned
