A Commercial Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative to collaborate with Account Managers, Producers, and Agency staff to service existing accounts, quote new business, provide excellent customer service, and other responsibilities as needed. Candidate must have a good attitude, and professional demeanor and be able to work well with others in a busy team environment.

Our office is expanding and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding customer service team. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position. Our Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, maintaining knowledge of our products, and answering any questions our clients may have.

Insurance industry or office experience and knowledge are not required but would be a greater benefit relating to customers in the beginning for this position.

Salary Range: $40000.00 - $42500.00 per year

Assist Account Manager with annual renewal for Insureds.

Access Loss information for renewals and as needed.

Request and Process changes for policy endorsements.

Performs general insurance tasks as necessary, which may include, but not limited to invoicing, issuing certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and maintaining driver's lists.

Miscellaneous tasks within the Commercial Lines Department

Provide exceptional customer service.

High School Diploma or GED is mandatory

Must be reliable and dependable

One-year experience in dealing directly with commercial lines insurance coverage is preferred but not required

Property & Casualty Insurance license for Indiana preferred but not required

Ability to apply technical knowledge in insurance coverage, terminology, and concepts

Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail

Good organizational skills

Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task

Exhibit exceptional oral and written communication skills

Excellent customer service and teamwork skills

Working knowledge of computer software packages including Microsoft Office and Applied EPIC is preferred but not required

Enthusiasm toward new ideas with an eagerness to learn and advance as part of a team

Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
