Looking for a Commercial Salesperson (Outside Sales Rep) - Los Angeles/Orange County area

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • 25%- Prospect for new customers and secure appointments to share SWB’s mission and product offerings.
  • 40%- Manage existing accounts on a daily basis to ensure superior customer service
  • 5%- Using the company CRM tool, prepare a weekly sales plan that shows initiated sales, sales leads, and prospects as well as account penetration.
  • 10%- Learn and understand the basic applications of the products that we sell and how they benefit our customers and their projects.
  • 15%- Work with internal and external sources to find new product offerings to present to clients.
  • 5%- Attend and actively participate in monthly sales meetings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Build & Develop strategic relationships with customers
  • Product Expert on all lines
  • Generate new leads for all territories
  • Learn and relay industry information to Sales Manager
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on new & existing products
  • Research and analyze competitor product pricing and sales approach
  • Establish attainable sales goals with Sales Manager
  • Meet with Sr. Management bi-weekly for sales review
  • Review open / pending orders and reconcile monthly
  • Maintain accurate records of all leads, customer accounts, and sales trends
  • Visit completed project sites to take pictures, and submit those pictures and copy of sales orders every Friday

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • History of success and a minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience
  • Previous experience in sales, business management, or customer service
  • Must have strong computer skills and have ERP experience
  • Must have effective sales and negotiation skills
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills
  • Must be customer focused and have exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be active on social media and understand the value of each platform (including LinkedIn)
