Inside Sales Representative

Our Client is a family owned steel service center serving customers in Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas of SW Washington, Oregon Coast and Columbia River Gorge. Summary

A successful Inside Sales Representative will have a positive, can-do attitude and be comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities. This position has a lot of variety in the day to day responsibilities. The right candidate will thrive in an environment where they will be writing and quoting steel orders for commercial accounts.

The Inside Sales Representative will be directly responsible and dedicated to the dormant and inactive customer accounts within this territory. The individual must enjoy working in a dynamic fast paced environment and must have the desire & motivation for career advancement within the Steel Industry.

The position will work closely with, and report to, Sales Manager. This role has the potential for some flexibility in the schedule for the right person, regular business hours are 8 am – 5 pm.

Experience & Skills

• Proven work experience as a Inside Sales Representative and able to work with customers telephonic and in person, face to face interaction.
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales. This job is sales driven and evaluated on a monthly sales quota.
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Established career interests and aptitude in sales.
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Ability to contribute productively while working with a fast-paced team
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities
• Strong customer service skills and detail orientation
• Steel Experience Preferred

Pay: Up to $70,000/ year with base pay around $52k + commissions

Schedule: 8am - 5pm Flexibility Available!
