Mid Florida Material Handling is looking for industrial equipment / material handling sales representatives in the CENTRAL FLORIDA AND TAMPA area. We are seeking proactive self-starting individuals for long term, full time sales position. The successful candidate must be able to travel locally to customers locations build strong relationships with both customers and management. Needs to have strong organizational skills and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Visit All MFMH customers in the assigned territory.
• Quickly follow up all sales leads generated by the company or service technicians.
• Generate estimate for customers in a timely and accurate manner
• Cold call on any potential new customers and develop the same.
• Generate a daily call report with follow up call dates noted.
• Coordinate with management, service and parts departments as to activity in the territory.
• Evaluate used equipment for trade in purposes.
• Conduct self in a professional manner with customers and fellow workers.
• Participate in all training in and away from the office.

Required Skills

• Ability to work independently.
• Be well organized and detail oriented.
• Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Clean Driving Record and Reliable Vehicle.
• Previous Industry Experience required, with a minimum of 2 years selling pallet rack/material handling equipment
• High School Graduate (REQUIRED)
• Bachelors
• Working within a Team Selling Model.

The representative will be expected to call on existing customers and develop new client accounts for sales and service. The responsibilities of this job includes forklift sales as well as allied equipment, both new and used. The representative must have an understanding of material handling equipment including forklifts and their attachments, pallet racking systems, dock equipment and other material handling products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
