The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for increasing revenue and improving customer satisfaction as measured by quote generation volume, quote generation velocity, quote closure rate. The ISS Representative will work with and support customers, field sales, and field service personnel by following up on leads, generating quotes, and using Brady data to facilitate outbound calling and marketing campaigns among other duties. The individual who assumes this role will be expected to gain a strong working knowledge of Brady’s product lines and Service, Retrofit, Controls, Security, and Rental businesses, and play an integral role in driving growth of each of these areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Provide inside sales support for both Mechanical, Controls, Heating, and IS Reporting sales within Brady.
• Serve customers by answering inquiries and responding to special requests.
• Manage and maintain ISS Inbox to facilitate the creation of quoted service work within 24 hours, or sooner as required.
• Work closely with technicians, sales team, and ISS reps to help facilitate proposals for repair, replacement, and retrofit jobs.
• Assist in the preparation of rental proposals (i.e. delivery of rental equipment, equipment installation, startup, decommissioning and logistics of rental equipment returns).
• Document work by completing quoting process in Salesforce.com for each opportunity.
• Maintain and update records associated with opportunities, closed sales, customer information, campaign activity, and other sales management tasks by updating information in [please apply online] Serve as a resource for technicians, ISS reps, and sales team to adopt and fully utilize job quoting tool, including rollout support.
• Assist in preparation of job set up for “NDA” rushed requests.
• Assist in parts research with parts procurement for all field associates when requested.
• Establish department key performance strategy with assistance from various business leaders through key performance metrics with weekly dashboard reporting
• Assists in Bid preparations and delivery for Brady Direct Sales Team
• Point of contact for Omnia Proposals, reporting, and requesting of required documentation for processing.
• Strengthens a culture for continuous improvement by working directly with leaders on improvement opportunities within the business unit
• Analyzes current processes and workflows with management to develop a priority list of improvement opportunities
• Collaborates with other Brady business units for warranty and product concerns
• Prepare written proposals for Brady Sales Team as needed.
• Knowledgeable with the products and services offered by Brady and effective in the sales of those products and services.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices
• Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company’s mission and values
• Must be able to work overtime/weekends as required

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
