The Conrad Company, a fast growing, award-winning family-owned business located in York, PA is seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking Business Development Specialist to be a pioneer on an evolving and fast paced growing team. The focus of this position is Valley Fluid Components and is a brand-new role.

Valley Fluid Components is a leading supplier of automation, pneumatic, lubrication, hydraulic products, and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Strengthening Supplier relationships through consistent written and verbal communication, main point of contact for lead generation and follow up, and monthly reporting.
• Complementing our Sales Professionals in person at new and existing accounts to drive sales growth and profitability.
• Developing and coordinating relationships between our Sister Companies and PennAir Divisions to enhance the overall brand of the Conrad Company.
• Super User for reporting all sales data and leads into ERP system as first step in the sales process.
• Identifying and developing new lines of business based on consumer behavior.
• Evaluating and improving sales, marketing, and brand strategies
• Joining local Networking groups to meet like-minded individuals who can introduce us to new, unqualified business opportunities.
• Disperse website leads to the appropriate destination, then track and report lead outcomes to Marketing.
• Increasing the brand awareness in the state of Virginia for a 35-year-old company with inactive, current, and soon to be new customers
• This position will have a car stipend and the opportunity for performance incentives.

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
• Experience working in sales or business development field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Background in industrial automation / fluid power
• Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.
• Familiarity with utilizing an ERP system, Acumatica is a plus.
• Travel to HQ in York, PA for learning and development, sales meetings, etc..
• This is a hybrid position covering the state of Virginia.
